Meet the Team

		JOHN HARROP Snooker has been a major part of my  life for the past 30 years, having made my living playing the game from 1981 until 1989. I then moved into the business side of the sport, first working for Allied Billiards Ltd of Accrington, Lancs. and then in 1995 set up Blackpool Snooker Co. with my business partner Ron Coleman. Since then we have established Blackpool Snooker Co. as the areas leading retail and repair business.
		RON COLEMAN I entered the snooker table  business in 1975, joining Blackpool Billiard Works as table fitter/tablemaker. As a fully qualified joiner I made it possible for the business to move into the table manufacturing market and help the then owner, Mr. Tony Sowden design a range of mahogany and oak snooker tables of all sizes. We then started manufacture and sold many tables across the Fylde coast and outlying areas. Many of the snooker tables I made can still be seen in Clubs in and around the Blackpool area. I formed Blackpool Snooker in 1995 with my business partner John Harrop.
		MATTHEW HARROP I have now worked for Blackpool Snooker Co. for nearly three years since leaving school in 2007, although I did help out during holidays whilst still at school. In fact I even did my work experience while at school with Blackpool Snooker, during which I actually helped deliver and install a snooker table to Hamburg, Germany!  I work with Ron on the fitting side of the business.
		DANNY HAWORTH Snooker has been a large part of my life for many years from watching top class professional snooker to playing league snooker for two local teams to a good standard. I now manage the Blackpool Snooker retail outlet, dealing with the local players who call in to purchase accessories or need cue repairs. I also run and maintain the Company website, keeping the site up to date with the latest news from the snooker world and our regular special offer deals.
