Easy For Ding In Chinese Battle

Ding in China Final

Ding Junhui scored a 6-0 whitewash of countryman Tian Pengfei to reach the final of the Rundili Wuxi Classic.

Pukka Pies UK Champion Ding will face Shaun Murphy over 17 frames in his home town of Wuxi tomorrow (Sunday) for the £20,000 first prize. It's Ding's third consecutive final in this event, having won it two years ago and lost to Mark Allen last year.

He conceded just 19 points in the first three frames against Tian, rolling in breaks of 52, 81 and 90. The next could have gone either way, but Ding took it by clearing from last red to black. And his dominance continued after the interval as further runs of 75, 52 and 60 saw him to a comfortable victory.
