Michael Holt won the Pink Ribbon tournament at the new South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester by beating Jimmy White 6-5 in the final.
A high-quality match saw Nottingham's Holt take a 4-1 lead with top breaks of 114 and 127. White recovered to 5-5 with 55, 61, 65 and 110.
But Holt needed just one chance in the decider, as a long red set up a superb run of 129. The Hitman, ranked 24th in the world, now looks ahead to the first Players Tour Championship event later this week with renewed confidence (the draw for PTC1 will be on this website later today).
Paul Mount, the man behind the new academy, announced that the tournament had raised £6,300 for breast cancer charities.
